Marco Honey writes LitRPG and progression fantasy about ordinary people thrown into brutal systems with almost nothing. His current series The Big Stop follows Steve Hargrove, a tired Earth data-entry worker who dies at his desk and wakes up in the freelands of Elandria with a stronger body, a personal HUD, and the long, messy climb from zero to something that might one day resemble a hero.

Marco focuses on underdog growth, found family, and the friction between sarcasm and high stakes. His stories mix system progression, guild ranks, moral gray areas, and the slow process of people who never expected to matter learning how to stand together anyway.

When he’s not writing, he’s usually gaming, spending time with his family, getting ordered around by his Chihuahuas, and spoiling his sweet cat. He believes the best progression stories aren’t about the strongest person in the room — they’re about the ones who refuse to stay weak.
